Did a height chart for my characters! Finally, most of their designs are more or less finalised. I will most likely colour it in next thing

Tried some *slightly* different colours. Normally I reuse colours as often as possible, it sorta helped with consistency but also felt a bit constraining

I get it no one cares about this rant and I am not looking for a miracle to happen... well, maybe I am. I hope at least voicing my thoughts like this will push me to find a solution, I'm way too unhappy with the current state of things.

I believe my art's been getting *worse* (or not better) since 2025. When reviewing my old drawings, I can't help but feel like I lost all direction somewhere during 2025. I no longer know what the hell do I even want to draw or how to improve at this point.

Yeeeeesh I'm feeling more stuck than ever before
I feel like I've been in an art block for *months*, barely forcing any drawings out of myself. No advice seems to help and all of my attempts to do a "great comeback to art" had failed. And the worst part?

Dunno what's supposed to be the context behind this one. I got tired of not making any "remarkable" drawings, I didn't want to keep drawing my characters just... existing in the void. So I drew Damian like this! Better than nothing!

Still lacking ideas...

Oh, there's also this. I really like Combine elites, so I tried to learn how to draw them, and for the start went with a simple drawing of the helmet. The style is a bit untypical for me and I probably won't do much more of it, I'd go with more detailed next time

Time's been extra fast lately, didn't even notice how January neared its end

Why do I feel like when Gabe Newell passes it'll almost inevitably result in a spike of suicides (posting this mostly for the sake of going back to it in the future, to see whether I was right or not)

Colin redesign, gotta draw more of him. I think I'm pretty happy with the lineart, but not with the colouring and the palette. The palette could really use improvement, the old one was way too dull but reds don't look much better

The driving mechanics were way too intricate so you kept getting game overs because you accidentally crash into somebody, or somebody crashes into you because they expected you to drive in a different direction. The art style was accurate but the lighting was too dark

Pat's wife (also from the movie) was also in the car. One of the things you could reprogram robots for is to make them recarve fountains from "bad" into "good" ones, changing them from gold to stone. Someone in the dream mentioned how Pat's story was "actually very tragic"

I had a dream about an unnecessarily dark and serious game based on the Postman Pat movie. You drive in a car, do stealth missions, reprogram robots (those come from the movie). Accidentally driving into a motor biker sets your whole car on flames and is an instant game over

I hope one day I am going to get more than ten likes

Simple render of Damian, I wanted to see him in full height in the current design. The darker blue was definitely a good choice!

Shame I never finished this Hollow Knight drawing. Colouring before the lineart was even complete was a bad idea. Somewhere in the middle I thought the body was posed weirdly and tried to repose it and then I gave up...

But maybe I will finish the Collector drawing?
