#OTD today is the 200th anniversary of the reading Gideon Mantell's paper to @royalsociety.org naming Iguanodon on 10 Feb 1825. The name comes from the similarity of the dinosaur's teeth to those of the Iguana. Dinosaurs with similar teeth found in #Hastings were also given this name in later years.
