Route 4E/W will be back up and running after an earlier breakdown at 10am, leaving Bridgetown.

Dear riders,
On Saturday, November 22nd, Route 5 (Weymouth to Cornwallis) will stop running at 4pm.
The last connection in Cornwallis will be at 3pm.
All other routes will continue on the regular schedule. In the afternoon, please plan to travel earlier.

Heads up, Kentville riders!
We’ve got a small change coming your way.

Starting Dec 1, 2025, two stops are moving:

Eastbound: Park St & Elizabeth Ave ➜ Glenview Ave & Park St
Westbound: Ultramar & Park St ➜ Park St & Veterans Ln

Change is on the move to keep your ride smoother and safer!

Remembrance Day is coming, and Kings Transit buses will not be running Tuesday, November 11th, 2025
Service will resume Wednesday, November 12th, 2025.

Did you know you can flag the bus?

If you're not sure where your stop is and you'd like to jump on the bus, you can wave and hop on board! (Standard fares still apply).

If it's dark outside, make sure you use a light so you're seen.

Bus 61 is back after a major welding repair! Jenny was very happy to see it this morning!

We’re getting close to having four buses operating between Grand Pre and Greenwood again. Stayed tuned for updates!

With darker mornings and evenings it’s time to let your light shine!

Please use a flashlight (or your phone' light) while at your bus stop to make sure our Operators see you in the dark.

Heads up, riders!

Due to construction, all eastbound Core buses will temporarily stop at the Kentville Legion on River Street instead of the Aberdeen (EHS) stop in Kentville.

Watch for signs or check our detour map before you travel.

As of tonight, our Greenwood 2 Route is suspended indefinitely.

The final full day of KTA service in the Town of Digby will be Sat, Aug 30th.

KTA will continue to serve the stop in front of Sobeys on Warwick St.

Free period products provide access for everyone!

We’re thrilled to partner with the AVRL to provide free period products in the public washrooms at Kings Transit.

We are working to provide products on the bus. Until then, every AVRL branch is fully stocked and accessible on KTA routes!

Kings Transit became two-time "Best Float" winning champs at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in Lawrencetown last night!

A special thanks to our dedicated team of bubble blowers and our spunky seahorse for decorating and walking in the parade! It was a wonderful event with an amazing crowd!

Dear riders,

Service into the Town of Digby will continue to operate until further notice. It is still scheduled to end.

There is a Nova Scotia Regulatory Review Board hearing scheduled at the Digby Town Hall on Thursday, August 21st at 10:30am. Please see previous post for info on the hearing.

KTA passengers are welcome to bring drinks on the bus as long as they are in a spill proof container.

Takeout cups can spill and make sticky messes for our team, so they can’t come on the bus.
