Yeah, exactly. Rules-lawyering your relationship is a bad place to be.

Having a writers coffee sesh and our coffee artist is knocking it out of the ball park (this was a request for Cthulhu):

Weird, borderline kink films are like coal mine canaries- they're offensive, often deeply personal, and a foil to the clean blandness of big budget propaganda. A lack of bizarre "not to everyone's taste" films is an indicator of a sickly studio ecosystem.

I am awake, by accident, because I have some work-related insomnia.
My bet is Tim is awake, on Purpose, to watch a UK byelection in which Greens knocked Labour to THIRD place, for a seat (riding?) that Labour had won since the 1930s.
We Are Not The Same
(With love, @djdynamic.ca ! ❤️ )
Wow the Brits I follow are posting very excitedly!
( Sees "Reposted by Tim Ellis" )
Geez dude, @djdynamic.ca , when DO you sleep?
I am in Canada, not the UK. But we also have the problem of "the two entrenched parties feeling entitled to power". I hate it.
Reading that Labour got their ass handed to them by Greens in a byelection is life-giving!
It's 4:14am here; the news made being unable to sleep "worth it".
If I had invented the retinal scanner I probably would've said something like "It's for checking Eye D lol" and then my investors would've drowned me in a toilet.

YUP.
Weird weather (even cold weather) due to climate change is pillow-talk in my relationship, for reasons.
I was trying to affirm your point "wow it's awfully early to stoke the annual AC wars".
But I can see how my post could be read as a "the planet's not warning!" crank. (Sorry.)
Isn't Time magazine headquartered in New York City City?
Didn't New York City have a historic blizzard just this week?
yes
because plenty of folks I've met who have lots of personality also have lots of self-doubt.
(you have lots of personality)

Oh my gods.
I knew you had a way with words, but DAMN that thread was worth a read (your half, at least).
If someone roasted me like that I think I might put my phone down and go outside a bit.
There should be a sport where they get two teams of a dozen capybaras each and they have extremely high energy announcers give a play by play analysis of what they are all doing.
Maybe toss in a few tortoises and cats, or some goats.
It looks like you had an all-star lineup!
(Says my chronically-online-poisoned brain)
Congratulations on the success! A model which could be repeated for future "alternative events", I hope!
"surge pricing" but instead of price gouging, it's "surge wages" when you need a lot of labour to handle an emergency
Looks like the result is great — you've got clear paths and people have money to spend
Some friends of mine made a folk song about a similar incident; maybe it'll resonate with you

It's amazing how well government can work, when the people elected to office WANT government to work.
I try not to post about American politics too much but I think the principle is true up here, too!

The best thing I can say about X Men 3 is the experience saved me from seeing Spiderman 3.

I think the only reason "Star Trek: Into Darkness" wasn't my reply is I didn't see it in a theatre.
A student group showed it on-campus (where I worked at the time) and I was being paid to be the projectionist, so.
If I had paid to see it I probably would have been mad.
Mine was X-Men 3. I thought the first two movies were surprisingly good, but the script for the third movie was AWFUL. With the heavy ad campaign for the movie, I felt tricked out of my time and money.
Promised I'd never see anything from that director again.
Wonder what he's up to now 🙃
