I really loved Gaiden from a "purely play the story" point of view. I still rank it highly on my list.

We flew BA, they were fine but a bit crap on keeping us hydrated on the flight home 🤣
We did Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka each for about 4 days.
Most stores have their own separate tax free checkouts or just ask and they bring a fork for you to fill in, its very easy!
We did 2 weeks, flights were about £1000 each which was the most expensive part, splitting between 5 we stayed in AirB&B type things for about £400 a head for the full 16 nights
The country itself is super cheap as tourists get tax free and the yen is currently week.
Oh man, on my recent trip over there I bought so much random junk from these machines, all my mates mocked me when I came back to the hotel later that evening with the most random trinkets 🤣
