I think I could actually pick at a lot of things about Resident Evil 9 but also I literally played the whole thing in a day and immediately hit NG+ and loved it 😊

Well Ive been pretty cleanly transitioning from a country music binge to a hiphop kick these last months but these two albums pulled me back to extreme realms like a shotgun blast to the ear.

Im gonna be doing nothing but staring at these for days.

Iron Lung was good. First couple scenes I was just kind of laughing at Markiplier being there but actually totally dissolved into the role pretty quick. Cool ass idea, struggled with the pacing.

I think you’d enjoy the overall cultural-religious theme of a britain in transition from roman to arthurian christian to looming saxon immigration.

The Bright Sword - Lev Grossman

An Arthurian reimagining that predictably made me think of T.H. White’s The Once and Future King, which is of course a more important and inventive work but Bright Sword holds its own in thrills and heart and some inventiveness of its own. Loved it.

Chris Buehlman has a great line from his last novel for the moment, “the mask one’s face becomes after too many outrages”. It’s endless the humiliations these bloodthirsty pigs put us through. Too weary to even mount the rage necessary.

Yellowjackets is such a disaster of a show lol. First season was pretty good, not sure how it went so terribly wrong.

Yeah Cox was great. Ive loved every Hannibal Lecter we’ve gotten.

Lovelovelove Peterson’s take on Will Graham but the Dragon was a glaringly terrible performance and I can’t see what others appear to see in the score, the tone was so confusing in the second half.

Hated this, surprisingly. Thought this was supposed to be the really good adaptation of Red Dragon.
