I was so lucky. I grew up with a Great Grandma who was born in 1893. Her twin brother died from flu in 1917. Her husband died at 55 from lung damage in the trenches in WW1. She loved the progress for peace in the world and taught me, my siblings and cousins how important peace was.

Our front garden is sodden and it’s the highest point around. So glad we had huge amounts of draining put in the back garden when we had it done 2 years ago. sploshing to the garage was no fun.
