yeah, most aftermarket intakes are $250 - $400 so it has a big price premium over the competition

it's meant to be by far the best performing and well-engineered intake available, and well uh you can see how that turned out lol

it's so dumb because nothing mechanical changed for those years; it's just a technicality!

if I'm paying hundreds for a part, I don't want to have to bother uninstalling and reinstalling it every couple years tbh

if the part had big performance gains I probably would, but this is just an intake

side of airbox showing gigantic mold lines and overflowing plastic

screw hole not lining up for the airbox lid (none lined up and the lid doesn't sit flush)

inside the air filter showing excessive rubber "flash" breaking off

mystery plastic dust on my hands after touching the inside of the airbox

if you thought that was bad, check out the the fit and finish! Good ol' made in America quality 😭

awful mold lines, screw holes don't line up, rubbery parts like in the filter are fraying, scuffs/pitting on metal parts, and all plastic parts are dusty and oily 😿

$630 MSRP btw...

...and it's missing the mounting pegs I need to install it 🤦
