Marchers took over the street just south of Columbus Circle today at 1:30. Police were on hand as bike escorts in pink attempted to cut through traffic ahead of the demonstrators

A large number of police were called to arrest a fruit seller outside of the H&M in Times Square around 11pm. The seller was confronted by two officers and the interaction eventually devolved into shouting. It was not clear why so many officers were on the scene to arrest one man

A large and peaceful pro-Palestine protest overtook the Brooklyn Bridge this evening at 5:45. Many police officers were on hand with zip ties, although they were largely not engaged with the demonstrators.

A group of cyclists, runners, and other concerned citizens gathered at Honey Locust Park this morning to protest the ongoing delays in opening the pedestrian path over the Queensboro Bridge. Organized by Transportation Alternatives, the group called out the mayor for dragging his feet on the project

Heavy police presence remained around Union Square just before 7pm today in the wake of large-scale protests against the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil. Groups of officers were mostly standing around and chatting as crowds had dispersed. Chanting and helicopters could be heard throughout the day.
