I am in LOVE with this! It's such a simple, common scene that isn't about looking pretty or posed. It's just life, one of those simple beautiful moments that you aren't even aware is happening. I was just struck, and I love it man. It's 20/10!!

A one page comic about Gaius Baelsar titled "Like Father, Like Son." The first panel shows children lined up in a row giving an authoritative figure, bathed in light, the imperial salute. Behind them is a building with a sign out front that reads "Orphanage" in a Garlean-inspired font. There is also a Latin motto on the sign that reads"Spectemur Agendo" that means "Let us be judged by our acts." The authoritative figure and all the children save Gaius are tinted red. A shadow of Legatus Gaius looms behind his child-self. The head's shadow is cast over the sign board. Red, handwritten text above Gaius reads "I will make you proud." The second panel shows Legatus Gaius kneeling before the throne which appears to be occupied by the late Emperor Solus. Gaius is also doing the imperial salute. Red, handwritten text around Gaius reads, "Have my actions made you proud? Have *I* made you proud?" He is tinted red while Solus remains colorless and bathed in light. The last panel is larger than the other two combined and shows a dying Diamond Weapon projecting the spirit of Alfonse Baelsar. Gaius is on his knees in despair, Heirsbane dropped lifelessly from his hand as he basks in the light of his deceased ward. The shadow cast by Diamond weapon is a dark, bloody red color. There is blue handwritten text that is a quote from Alfonse in the Sorrow of Werlyt questline. It reads, "I am proud to call myself your son."
