I think he clocked me as soon as I casually mentioned that a boy in the year below had come out as gay. (2004 ish? So I was 15/16, boy was 14.)

These days, I think our parents assume we're a couple.

Accidentally came out to my dad as a lesbian a few months ago (I was thirsting Ortegas while we watched SNW) instead of NB. But I think "gay" means the same to him anyway.

These should be addressed in secondary school tbh. Especially for kids taking Highers/A-Levels. (I'm quite privileged, my teachers were great and not limited to the curriculum. I probably should shut up. Okay shutting up.)

As a Scot, I was lucky enough to get my first degree attempt for free (Computing in the mid 00s). I still consider my second failed attempt (Journalism in the late 00s) the more important one.

This prompted me to check my backpack for the Guides pin I put on there (after finding my old sash a couple years ago) and it's missing. :( But since I never go anywhere, it's probably in my parents' house or maybe the pub I occasionally meet them at.

This episode of Raymond is about girl scout cookies and I wish we had that in the UK. I wish I could buy overpriced boxes of cookies from Brownies. Why don't we do that here?!

Today's project (besides saving the Digital World) is to install Linux Mint on my old laptop. (Well, my aunt's dead friend's old laptop.) I had to google how to enter BIOS so it's not going well so far.

I'm waiting to see if they come out with a special edition Switch 2 for it. I CAN DREAM.
