At every conference, I meet hardworking scientists and clinicians working on "DEI" topics- their passion and scientific integrity is something I will #standupforscience for!

We find wonderful biological discoveries in the most serendipitous of places, whether yielding glamorous medical breakthroughs or sensible incremental insights. We pursue science with curiosity and scientific integrity, and I will stand up to keep it this way. (3/3)

When funding is actively denounced and rescinded for reaching out to impacted and diverse communities, this is an attack on science. (1/3)

Especially fond of the initial description of utility + pitfalls in simplifications, incorporation of considerable diversity as a feature not a bug, the discussion on models of alloreactivity, and the positive conclusion!

Will be keeping my eyes open outside of B cell world a little more, lots to digest here and keep reading about!

There's a funny recursion in which I feel late to the party about this older post which laments being late to the party about older resources, but despite the FOMO these types of content have been such a personally invaluable jumping point for further deep dives or discussions

Blogs can hit that sweet spot of informal discussion spaces on complex topics (found this one when trawling for more scRNA differential gene testing insights) 🧬
