Dude, it's already February

Crazy

So, if you’ve been a long-time follower of me, even back to when I went as the name: Snow Dust, you may have already seen the pattern of me disappearing, coming back, rebranding, promising content, and then disappearing, coming back, rebranding, promising content etc etc. I’m putting an end on that today until, in the future, I can get my shit figured out. I simply don’t feel like I have things handled in my reality. And in the most recent years with our current political and economic situation, it’s become so much harder to keep up with things. No, I’m not in financial need, I’m not in danger of becoming homeless or anything like that. To redo my past sentence… I simply don’t feel like I have the right system set up for myself to have the time and energy to continue my passions.

If I have the time, I don’t have the energy. If I have the energy, I don’t have the time. Because of this dilemma, to put it frankly, I am depressed. It’s come to the point that I’m becoming unhappy with everything else in my life. I’ve dealt with depression before, and I know this is one of those signs to look out for. Over these past few weeks, I’ve been thinking… Content creation, voice acting, and sound design has always been put on the back burner when I become busy or unmotivated. I wanted it be a motivator to pick myself up and try harder to get things worked out. But now it’s become a delusional burden.

All the projects, the roles, and the commitments I’ve promised. The weight on my shoulders hurts. Especially since those promises are for something I know I would love doing. As much as my anxieties don’t want me to let go of this, I have to acknowledge that I’m tired. I’m so tired. It wouldn’t be fulfilling if I did anything now. Honestly, I might just burn myself out, and lead myself to hate these hobbies even more. I can’t feel like that again. Until recently, my perspective about leaving or continuing my hobbies has been negative. Like a black-and-white visual that if I leave, I’m 100% done and can never come back. I’ve had to change that perspective.

I’m not walking away. I’m just taking a step in a different direction. So. I’m going to go on an indefinite hiatus. Is anything going to change? Not really, my disappearance this time will have a reason, and I’m more than likely going to be gone for at least another year. I won’t be doing anything in the background for collaborations, the only contribution I might do is repost things, and post an art piece or something from time-to-time, but anything audio-related is not going to happen anymore until I get things figured out. This is Izzle Shizzle. Take care of yourselves.

I’m stepping away entirely from content creation, voice acting, and sound design. I’m going to go on an indefinite hiatus.
