the change is nearly complete. mod's eyes are spread wide open, overwhelmed as her insides stretch to accommodate this new development. her belly is bulging, and her formerly human friend now wears a new coat of fur. their hands are large, gnarling into beastly paws that hook and dig into her pliant flesh. their tail wags behind them, reassuring the viewer that while their transformation might be alarming, it poses no threat. even if mod might be walking funny tomorrow.

slowly, very slowly, they begin to pull out. mod trembles and shakes, her eyes rolling back at the effort required to dislodge. her friend feels a similar sort of exertion, as their claws bend and dig, grounding themselves in her person after such a demanding experience.

Me too, we both had a scare this week. And still on going, at least until the foot is better. Right now my method of treatment for him is to force feed him water all day, so if it is joint pain that should help.

Urgent care told us to watch for infection. Gave him steroids and hope that makes the swelling go down.

Prov has been a very grumpy bear during all this which is... Testing my patience. But being in 10/10 pain isn't fun so it's just a struggle right now. Just trying to get him better.

He injured his foot the night the car died on us. Since then it's been swollen like 3 times it's size and getting more tender painful but the day. Finally went to urgent care and it's not testing as gout or kidney issues which is what we're most afraid of cause his dad suffered from it all his life.

Well I guess we got my husband's test results back sooner than expected. It isn't the two bad results they suggested and all we can do right now is treat the symptoms right now. n hope for the best.

So... No answers. But also it's not as bad as it could be. I'm just so tired of emergencies.
