Bring back text books. Get rid of the electronics as the primary source in school. Make them kids READ. Math books, spelling books, reading books, social studies and science books ARE NECESSARY.

I’m watching Lean on Me because we really do need more Joe Clarks right now. Someone who is not going to be afraid of the parents, hold teachers accountable, have compassion for those who are victims of their environment & HELP, and stand up for what’s important, EDUCATING THE BLACK YOUTH.

I’m watching parents be upset about supplying their children with the tools and resources they need in school? I’m watching parents call other parents broke bc of a bookbag? Like that’s where we are as a people? FORREAL. Malcolm, Martin & Tupac are rolling in their graves. 😔

I think the saddest thing I’m witnessing happen is America is how academia is no longer the forefront of the black community. 😔 our ancestors did all that work and for what, our youth to not even be able to read, write, spell or even care about their educations.

I get that some people genuinely want to do the whole discuss/debate thing. That isn’t me lol I’m here to provide tools & resources. It starts with picking up the book, maybe then more people will become intrigued or interested in what’s really happening to us.

The implications of banning anything in the US without evidence is one thing but having a 4 yr long plot to ban it then take ownership of saving it is a whole other thing. These two issues are indicative of how the US Gov will be acting from here on out. We should all be concerned.

I’ve been saying this ALL morning. How is it that he’s the one who called for it, The Hill backed it & it became law & now he wants to “save” it to get some cool points? He gave us money last time, the US Gov knows Americans will settle for the app this time. And then it’ll all go down hill.
