Many of the side games/elements are actually pulled from the original Arknights! I'm still new to both, and I think Endfield is so far lacking in the depth that I've experienced in the original, but I'm hoping it develops more as we get further in.

It's a bit. Probably a teaser for a new release.

LRP - I hate that socmed encourages a level of self-deprecation, esp in creatives, for engagement.

Not loving every part of yourself/your art is normal. Needing occasional validation is normal. But when it becomes a fixture and creeps into a persistent mindset it becomes exhausting for everyone.

Not exactly the point of last post, but also it's exhausting to interact with someone who is constantly self-deprecating. We all have to do a certain amount of choosing confidence in our work and ourselves to get to the good parts.

Ruathyr is routinely up in the middle of the night after the nightmares hit. He usually settles his nerves with a cup of tea and piece of fruit, perhaps a small bit of cheese or handful of nuts. Occasionally, he'll savor a baked treat if there are any on hand.

I'll probably delete this later but perhaps...2026/2027 goals. I was never crazy fit, but I used to be so much more flexible and athletic than I am now and I miss it.

I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.

But Corey this wildly unsustainable industry is here to stay and you have to accept at least one possible use for it 🥺 Folding your cat in half could be good you just don't understand

And as I said in the second half, it's wildly unsustainable and already being walked back. Companies are desperate for people to accept it, while public sentiment against it is only growing. We don't have to accept it and we certainly don't have to listen politely to people shilling it.

It's wild to me—absolutely insane—the number of people who only care about the integrity of their own slice of the creative pie. Any time I see a creative throw other creatives under the slop bus, I hope whatever they're making, doing, striving for, fails. May their touch wither every endeavor.
