It’s been a non-stop barrage of vet visits for my 15 y/o jack russell and me. It’s harrowing when you’ve got a senior, but I felt this post a lot. If he didn’t have the unbelievably compassionate people in his corner that he does, I would have cracked months ago. Sending you and your cat good vibes.

I remember when this came out. I’ve never forgotten it exists. But for three decades, I’ve just somehow never watched it. You posting this inspired me to take the afternoon to finally do so. My god, what an awful, poorly-constructed excuse for a film. I can’t wait to watch it again.

This is literally how I feel about it. I don’t understand how it feels like homework to have to sit through it when it’s just chock full of everything I’d want.

From a narrative standpoint, yes. But it has Jared Leto trying to be avant garde but he just comes off as … Jared Leto trying too hard. So 2049 loses points there as well.

I don’t think Blade Runner is all that great.

I loved explaining to my nephew what pre code was about a year ago. His response was “I thought people didn’t like to curse or do anything bad when movies were b&w.” And I’m like “WELCOME TO THE CODE!”

Honestly, I’m still pretty mad my job had the audacity to expect me to work at all since 11/28. And they still expect me to do so for most days through 1/2. Like, rude.

Well, it certainly won’t be Lance who loses a seat. He has a passion for racing, and he’s good enough to compete on the grid, his first two seasons were great. But he would he still even have kept his seat all these years later if it weren’t for the team’s current owner…?

Spoiler alert for this movie: my friends and I cheered in the theater when the mom handled business at the end. And then I promptly went home and offered to do the dishes.
