As Trump builds up to attack Iran, the Dem establishment—again—shows its support with silence Feigned helplessness, process criticism, no public statements or editorials: Liberal elites continue to let Trump do their dirty work for them.

As Trump has openly built up to this horrific attack on Iran, top Democratic leaders have either been silent or offered limited process criticisms, failing to muster a robust and meaningful opposition.

What the genocide in Gaza reinforced is that there are no "civilians" when it comes to Israel and the United States. The rest of the world learned the same lesson and the consequences are going to be felt across the world.

Kansas Invalidates Transgender People’s IDs After GOP Legislature Passes New Law The law, which goes into effect on Thursday, provides no grace period for the people it affects.

Transgender residents of Kansas have received letters informing them that a new state law requires them to forfeit their driver’s licenses if they include a gender marking that doesn’t match the sex identity they were assigned at birth.

Spending on policing (even excluding immigration policing) rose by over $58 billion (which is over 40%!) from just 2017 to 2025 during Trump's first term and Biden's term. People are not appreciating the incredible scope of these budget increases or what it is being spent on.

In some elite neoliberal circles, there is a developing view that grotesque levels of inequality/injustice can be controlled/managed more effectively with various forms of mass surveillance, policing, and social control through other systems (e.g. education, social media, tech).

A day later and no major national news org has covered what they're doing in Kansas.

This is the flip side of the hyper focus on trans issues by the right. The national media ignores what's actually being done to trans people.

This erasure is what contributes to the persecution.
