It’s so weird spending 5 years working on something in service to others and then it’s out in the world and you have to spend all your time being like β€œhey will you buy this and read it bc it’s the biggest thing I’ve ever done and I would hate for it to go to waste” πŸ˜‚

The USAF removed Tuskegee Airmen & Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII from basic training curriculum. For 30 years I promised these women I would not let them ever be forgotten again. We worked for decades to have them remembered. The Airmen too. Knowledge is power. πŸ—ƒοΈ www.msn.com/en-us/societ...

Prepping ceramics for a group of kids to decorate this week. If all goes well, they’ll be auctioned off at an annual school fundraiser. If not, my nervous system is already jacked up because of US politics, so I guess I’ll have a panic attack and collapse into a heap of tears.

I woke up at 4 in the morning to rain outside my window. We haven’t seen real precipitation here since March. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. As careless as we are with her, this planet still does her best to function.

Ways I’ve taken care of myself this week:

- Talked on the phone instead of texting
- Met friends in person
- Attended live event for WAVE (Women for American Values and Ethics)
- Made art with my hands
- Kept the TV off
- Spent time outside every day
- Exercised
- Reminded myself to breathe
