Monopoly is bad for capitalism. We've already decided that. But a monopoly owned by foreign powers seems even worse. And Jared's involvement likely guarantees a boycott of Paramount if such a thing is possible.

The way our politics flip-flops every few years (due to voters "lets try something new" mentality) would strongly suggest chaos would occur. Dems would implement helpful programs that Congress creates. GOP would then promptly dismantle them next time in the White House. Like one tiresome food fight.

Since when was this in question? We were taught Congress declares war, period. Congress also controls the purse. Nothing is more expensive than going to war so it makes sense the power to make that decision would sit with them.
