diy is not a solution to structural transphobia and politically speaking we should fight for OTC hormones and a trained empathetic and understanding endocrinologist with experience in trans healthcare on every corner. we have a shit relationship w doctors because they can just exploit us

its not fair that trans people have to become doctors just to transition when actual doctors have the knowledge and choose not to apply it. and on top of that, trans people rarely become doctors due to structural barriers, and when we DO, we're harassed out of the fucking field.
