Fond memories of taking game manuals to school to read. I distinctly remember the AoE2 and SimCity 3000 manuals.

It's kind of a problem now for retro gaming, since so much info was only available in the manual. Trying to play old games with no manual can feel like fumbling around in the dark.

having fun doing the things you like IS the point. if youre also good at it, great, if not so what. also, of all people, i dont have to tell you this, but you dont get good at something by not doing it. so having fun doing something comes first, getting good at it comes later.
