At the Spanish Pavilion at COP30 Brazil, alongside @miteco.gob.es and AGWA, we shared the Compact that came out of the recent Sector Ministers' Meeting in Madrid.

At COP30, H.E. Michelle Bachelet gave the keynote speech at the SWA & Race to Resilience event to launch the partnership's new policy brief on gender, climate, water and sanitation.

On Tuesday at COP30 Brazil, we launched an updated definition to climate-resilient water, sanitation and hygiene services.

We met with Ambassador Antonio Da Costa e Silva, Head of International Affairs at the Ministry of Cities of Brazil.
As part of our conversation, we discussed joint works on climate, ahead of the Brazil-hosted COP30, as well as the upcoming Sector Ministers' Meeting taking place in Madrid, 22-23 Oct.

In between UN General Assembly meetings this week, Muyatwa Sitali and @unicef.org colleague Jorge Alvarez-Sala met with Minister Durich Whittembury of Peru. We discussed Peru’s work to implement their national water pact, United for Water and Sanitation. We look forward to welcoming him to the SMM!
