#Knitsky, now it’s December’s, I’m reflecting back on my year…what’s been your favourite project you’ve knit in 2025?

For me, it’s my Scealla cardigan as I love the two knitting directions combined with some lovely cables. OH, or maybe the brioche sweater, Meabh! I’m terrible at picking favourites.

When you first look at a cable chart… it can feel like you’re trying to decode ancient runes. 😅 #knitsky 

Quick tips to make it easier:  
- Highlight symbols 
- Use a chart holder or app 
- Swatch first 
- Watch for sneaky increases/decreases.

What advice would you give your younger knitting self, #knitsky? 🤔 

Maybe you’d say,
“Don’t fear frogging, it’s part of the process!”
OR
“Buy the good yarn, you’re worth it.”

Every so often, a yarn just makes you stop and squish!😍

Here’s a quick tip for counting the rows between cables when you lose track! I find a double-pointed needle works great for this.
