Combat runs smoother because I have no need to hold back my mastermind tendencies.
Overall, I think I'm playing through faster.
Just.. the whole tone is different?I'm glad I'm doing this. It's fun, but in a totally different way than playing with people and that matters.
My primary concern of wrestling three additional characters by myself was probably unfounded (though familiarity with the game helps).
I'm not accidently missing cut scenes.
NPC interactions in the party are entertaining, but no match for player interactions because my friends are hilarious.
I finally got BG3 because I have a group of friends who will play with me. We are slow-rolling it and having a great time. Still haven't finished because of conflicting work schedules.
Predictably, if slowly, I did come around to starting a solo run. It's totally different.
This gives me hope that it's not too late for me to also be a cartoonist (assuming I kept up with making art, which I haven't).

RE: Politics & War
I can only re-write a response so many times before admitting that I don't have appropriate words and all my inappropriate ones seem insufficient.
Also, good reactors will show you side of music you didn't consider when you knew less and didn't reconsider when (if) you knew more. So even if you are stuck in the past, share your beloved with people who haven't heard your beloved music before.

A whole mess of new music for me to listen too this week.
I cannot understate the importance of dsicovering new art as one ages. It's so easy to settle into the comfortable nostagia of our youth and never listen to something new (to us).
They've immunized themselves to shame. The demonstrations are important because that crucible can forge/inform our next wave of leaders. We need people who won't just counter the fascist votes, but who will run them out of government altogether and enforce real consequences on them.

28.02.2026 02:03 ā š 0 š 0 š¬ 0 š 0All I can say is, if this show seems to be at least 80% your jam, it's probably worth sticking around for the full three seasons.
28.02.2026 02:02 ā š 0 š 0 š¬ 1 š 0Now that we are entering a very meta apocalypse, the ideas behind all that are being laid bare and while I don't know if they would hold up on a rewatch, they seem to work out really well in retrospect.
28.02.2026 02:02 ā š 0 š 0 š¬ 1 š 0This show has always been a mashup of competing and occasionally contradictory tones in a highly stylized package. It's not for everyone and I'm not always even certain that it's always good....

Fire Force (anime) just took their longest running embarrassment and turned it into a key plot element in a way that was not cheesy, lazy, or nonsensical.
They did it in a single episode in the just before the climax of the final arc.
I am mad about it and very, very impressed.
Very happy to announce I'll be running Community Radio and Five Fires at Games On Demand during Pax East this year!

So you would rule that the cat and its double are both affected by the spell, so you can't tell between them?
That's a valid way to align the story of the spell with the mechanics of the spell.
13th Ages' Escalation die *is a clock*, with benefits based on what time it is.
In this post, I propose that... Wait, where is everyone going?
But does Faerie Fire outline the displaced image of the cat? If we have a sure fire way to determine where all six murder mittens stand, don't we negate that defensive ability, letting our heroes swing with surety?
27.02.2026 15:23 ā š 1 š 0 š¬ 1 š 0
Displacer kitties have fuzzy positioning. You get disadvantage to swing on them.
Faerie Fire outlines the target granting advantage. Advantage and disadvantage cancel out.
