I'll allow it

02.03.2026 20:24 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0They are like the hopefully opposite of us, until they have been mathematically eliminated, I'm not putting a pin in them
02.03.2026 04:15 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Fair point, I honestly don't have a lot of good data to say he's worth it other than my eyes when I watch him. I know the numbers aren't great. But if the acq cost is low, and the Nucks retain, he could be worth it. Like if you get him for only around 8 mil per yr, he's probably worth that
01.03.2026 20:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Watching the third period and he's had like 3 or 4 shifts through the first 10 minutes. On those shifts I've seen him make a really nice saucer pass for a scoring chance, hustle hard repeatedly on a pair of back checks, and he attempted a backhand pass that got picked off. I can still see the good
01.03.2026 05:46 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Lol oh geez
01.03.2026 05:20 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I like EP40 because he's a center, but I'd prefer Thomas. Robo is great too
01.03.2026 04:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Oh we definitely him on him then 😂. Not really serious but you never know with Yzerman
01.03.2026 03:28 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Fair, but I felt like he was consistently noticeable when he was on the ice. I thought deserved more production wise than he got
01.03.2026 02:13 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Yea, I liked his game a lot at the Olympics, he didn't look slow, showed some dynamic skill that the Wings could really use and made plays that few others can. I was expecting to be disappointed in him but I was pleasantly surprised
01.03.2026 01:35 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I guess I just think that if you can get him for a 1st and some lesser prospects like Buium, Lombardi, Mazur, etc then it might worth it. Especially if Vancouver retains a couple million and we get him for less than Larkin.
01.03.2026 01:33 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I'm not sure I can convince you, but I do think he's playing better this season and better as of late. He's overpaid yes, but I don't think he's bad by any means. And if he finds himself again, then you have an absolute stud.
01.03.2026 01:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I'm not opposed, sorry @redwingsrandy.bsky.social. But the cost better not include Bear, MBN, Kasper or Danny
28.02.2026 23:51 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Ugh, c'mon Vegas
28.02.2026 01:19 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Reg win is definitely best. Florida's chances might be low but I don't want to leave it to chance either lol
28.02.2026 00:41 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Do you think it's better at this point for the teams chasing us to lose, or the teams currently in a playoff spot? I feel like it's the former. Especially because if Florida gets hot, they might push for a playoff spot
28.02.2026 00:16 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Haha it happens
27.02.2026 20:33 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It looks like April 4th and 5th are back-to-back, right?
27.02.2026 20:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I think they have another in early April, but I might be mistaken
27.02.2026 20:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I still like the idea of Faulk + Thomas but that might be too costly
27.02.2026 02:26 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I hope so
27.02.2026 02:20 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0He's an interesting player, he's an RHD who often plays the left, so I like his versatility.
22.02.2026 03:35 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I like the player, do not like the contract. It's not terrible but it's not great
22.02.2026 01:39 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Correct, he was younger for his draft class, similar to Larkin too. Whereas Pettersson was on the older side.
06.02.2026 02:14 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I think the big concern for the Wings has been, and continues to be, how long Larkin can stay a 1C, and whether someone in the system can replace him. Maybe it's Kasper or Nate, but Thomas is a proven 1C who's younger and gives us a solid 1-2 punch down the middle for now and the future
05.02.2026 23:53 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0That's fair, but making the playoffs this year becomes a lot easier with Thomas than without. The price is a lot though
05.02.2026 23:32 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I've just encountered two very alarming Detroit Red Wings stats: Since January 1, the defenseman leading the Wings in points per 60 minutes at 5v5 is... Hamonic at .84. Chiarot is 2nd at .79. More alarming is Larkin at .8, which is amazing since Raymond is 2.73 and Kasper is 1.76
05.02.2026 23:23 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Joel Eriksson-Ek was at .92 his rookie season. Roope Hintz was at 1.18 for reference.
05.02.2026 23:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Fun fact, and I don't think it means much, but still interesting. Nate, Kasper, and Finnie have very similar pts/60 at 5v5 in the NHL this season, between .92 for Nate, .89 for Kasper, and .88 for Finnie. Dvorsky for the Blues is lower than those 3 but pretty similar at .86
05.02.2026 23:12 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Nate does have 12 pts in 14 games in GR vs MBN, who 24pts in 38. Last year Nate scored at a rate of .55 pts/game, MBN is at .63 this season. I think Nate could be something, but he could also be a third liner
