My son’s school used to have a pool with a diving board & water slide. Swimming in it as a kid was a core memory for me. Now it’s a field, how else can the district afford new bullet proof windows & metal detectors? My happy memories haunt me today, it’s a reminder that we’ve failed as a society.

Yes, I am considering ALL who would be affected by a TikTok ban. I’m not ignoring the millions of Americans who kept their lights on cause of TikTok. It allows people to connect with each other in a way that hasn’t been done on social media before.

Millions of small businesses need TikTok. Despite manny being on all platforms, most sales come from TikTok. cause of booktok small bookstores kept their doors open, small authors didn’t have to rely on Amazon to sell. Musicians don’t have to be signed to a label to have their music recognized

That’s because the data is not available yet. I don’t have the character count to list the amount of people who would be economically impacted by a TikTok ban, that aren’t being considered by politicians or the news. Being on meta or here feels like I was launched to 2015. Its no where near the same
