Ploverein (Last semester in college)

hey guys. I know I have been pretty dead basically for the whole semester, but the upcoming February 15 is my birthday. it's also the last day of the semester. it would make my day if anyone would come by and wish me a happy birthday! I hope I can be more active after I graduate.

tomorrow is going to be my first job interview. I don't even know what to do. I'm quite nervous. i have been juggling between studying and preparing for it. I haven't rehearsed what to say nor did I know what to say at all.

ate three day old food without reheating. got bloated, and frequent bathroom visit. got fatigue, and fever. it sucks.

i feel like drawing my sona expressing various emotions today. i kinda feel slightly bad that no one expect anything that i draw, but ultimately, i'm just doing my own thing... anyway, here's an OMORI emotion chart by u/GrimyKimu.

ack... this ain't my proudest work, but that's what i get for not drawing and studying how to do it. i'm especially embarrassed about the fusion design. it's just not up to my (admittedly low) standards. but making it at all is better than nothing....

i thought i would get some rest during the semester break, but no. my mom wants me to apply for a job, so i have to study hard for it. a mock test book was even bought for me to study. it has 600 questions, and i'm only around 30% of the way through. i only have until oct 5 to study.

next time, i would try other chord progression, and using minor or other modes. this is just too cheesy. i would try to study how to add drums. i don't know what i'm doing with it at all here. songwriting too. i'm quite embarrassed by this...

the song was originally in C Major, but it was too low for my voice, so i later change it to G Major. i'm just winging it with no musical knowledge, so i went with something simple first. i had no idea what to write the song about, so i wrote about that.

hi... this is my first time making a song with lyrics. i dreamed about making music, so i made this. it's... alright. maybe i'll try making a song about something else next time. and also, this might be the first time you hear my voice...

i dreamed that i visited a music studio. they taught me how to write melodies, make chord progressions, humming the lyrics, and finally singing. we were even considering an alias/artist name :P expect some mediocre song soon... maybe? i'm a total beginner.

I'M FREE!!!! Finally made it to the end of the semester! I stayed up all night making my apprenticeship report. I printed it right before I had to present my report.

Tomorrow is the final project exhibition day, wish me luck... hope all the work i spent is worth it. i barely have any free time this whole semester because of it.

Next time, I'll remember to disable the profile preview before exporting, which will still embed the profile, but not apply it to the image twice.

At first, I attached an sRGB profile with this picture, but I was previewing the profile in FireAlpaca, which exports the already applied image with the profile, resulting in super bright colors from being applied twice.

I wanna try venturing out of my comfort zone a bit, so I drew my first object character. :D This is my first time drawing with a color profile on my laptop display, so I hope the colors will be alright. My display washes out purple colors.
