Dad just did a good deed on the train. There was a man who didn’t have any money for a train ticket and he was going to be put off the train at the next station so Dad paid for his ticket. Kindness always matters but, with everything going on these days, it seems especially impt.

M+D are heading into NYC to meet friends for dinner. They’re visiting from LA where M+D used to live (25 years ago). They’ve been friends for a gazillion years and are excited to be getting together. I’ll be waiting at home, hoping for a doggy bag.

It’s Monday *sigh* but at least there’s sun.

I went in up to my chest! By myself! Without prompting! And I stuck my face in, too! M+D say this summer I might realize I’m a water dog. 😮

The hearth? I claimed it as my spot as soon as I was big enough to jump up on it!

Yesterday, Mom ordered a Toller on the rocks for her birthday.

M+D are having brunch at the Thayer Hotel at West Point on the campus of the United States Military Academy. It is named after Sylvanus Thayer, West Point class of 1808, the "father of the Military Academy." It’s 100 years old. I hope the food is newer than that!

Yesterday, I took Mom for a birthday beach walk. Today, Dad is taking Mom for a fancy birthday brunch with a couple frens. I’m not invited but that’s ok. She’ll need to go for walkies later to make up for the all the buffet food so I’m resting up for that.

I got to sniff so many new smells at the beach today. And there was snow on the sand! Win win!

I met a new fren in the park by the beach today. She was little and unsure at first so I sat down and let her come to me. We did some plays and I was very gentle. M+D say I’m the bestest boy.

…and frolics. It was a pawsome way to celebrate Mom’s birthday! 4/4

Today was the best day ever. For Mom’s birthday, she wanted me and Dad to take her for a walk on the beach. It was a gray, foggy day but she didn’t care. We had so much fun… 1/4

It’s Mom’s birthday so of course I took her to Dunkin’ for coffee. She got her favorite sweet one that she rarely drinks and, bc she loves me, she got an egg/cheese snack for me. Win-win!

My work is never done. I’m now sniffspecting the tube things Dad bought to make sure he got the right thing.
