A noteworthy takeaway from tonight's Texas result is that the Republicans spent a metric truckload of money on this race. They spent millions more than the Democrats. The loss itself aside, this is a gigantic, flashing warning sign for the GOP's finances.

The more money the ultra rich criminals throw into the election, the guiltier they are going to look.

This could quickly turn into a lose-lose situation for them.

This could be fun to watch.

The best part about this is Texas is in play and that means GOP resources are going to have to flood the state for them to have a chance.

If they flood Texas, this will cause droughts elsewhere and they will risk losing there too.

Come on Texas, let's get out the vote and crush the GOP.

NEWS: Democrat Christian Menefee has won the special election for Texas’s 18th Congressional District, further narrowing the GOP’s slim majority in the House.

This is a huge win for the north west part of the Fort Worth / Dallas metroplex.

A swing like this state wide would make Texas Blue for sure.
