the living end is one of my favourite movies ever & was shot on 16mm & soooo much of the american avant garde / experimental stuff in the 60s on was on 16mm & exists because of how the format like, allowed for Control the way 35mm did but was so much more financially accessible

first of all every audio/visual information carrier has its own unique qualities and i am endlessly fascinated by weird outdated formats and writing any of them off sucks. secondly cds & dvds & digital (digital!) cameras are not analog hope this helps. also i am the most annoying person ever.
