We want to put them both in a position to maintain these improvements and allow Calypso to live a happy, healthy life with her mom! Ms. L is very involved in the community and always running around helping others. I'm hoping we can give back and help her in this moment!

To stay healthy, Calypso's treatment is maintaining a diet of only the Rx food (not the falafel pictured 😂), formulated to reduce thyroid levels to normal. Untreated can lead to heart failure, kidney disease, & eventually death. W/treatment, they can live out the rest of their lives pretty normally!

It’s been stressful but I’m grateful to support my neighbor by taking some of this stress off her shoulders. Ms. L does not have the financial means to cover the cost of the tests we needed and the expensive prescription food.
Calypso has so much love left to give and life to live.

Calypso's been staying with me for the summer and while here, she started getting sick - and w/ a vet visit and bloodwork was diagnosed w/hyperthyroidism. She is SUCH a lovebug and chatterbox, and w/ prescription food that manages her thyroid levels - she's doing SO much better.
