I read it in 2017, and am very grateful for the reminders, as it’s been hard to believe we’re actually living through this.

Millions of you, around the world, have put the lessons I wrote in #OnTyranny in late 2016 to good use. It has been humbling to learn how from courageous and creative dissenters, protestors, and oppositionists. I was honored when John Lithgow volunteered to read them aloud.

Seems like tRumpism is infecting everyone, even progressives, with awful language and an inability to listen. Did some of you even listen to Mr. Schumer’s reasoning for more than a minute? I know we’re rightfully angry about so many things, but reading these comments is so sad.

Has anybody even listened to the man and his reasoning for more than two seconds? You sound like tRUMP people, and that is just normalizing bad behavior.

Just now reading about 77 year old Congressman Al Green interrupting the orange felon’s Nazi address in protest against his hateful lies before creepy insurrection architect Mike Johnson had him removed. He’s a hero.

Re Zelensky at the WH, yet again, feminists and trauma/abuse- informed thinkers are years ahead of political analysts.

There is no acceptable affect, no way to charm an abuser, and no “deal” other than playing very very dead that would change how Trump and his flying monkey Vance behaved.
