I too struggle with this and feel like an invasion. I completely understand where you are coming from. I think checking on him (in the only way we can, all the while knowing we have no clue what’s truly going on in his mind and his life) is okay, when are intentions are all from the heart.

Truly humble, with only love in his heart, he doesn’t deserve anything but love. He’s done more for the world than ANY person criticising him.

I can relate to this so much, to how sensitive and open-hearted he is. Because I was also raised evangelical for a period of time before we left the church and it really does make you vulnerable to being taken advantage of and bullied.

I’m actually really worried about him. So many other people can say what they want but he definitely gets criticised more. It’s like, he’s the kid who got bullied really easily at school, he was an easy target because he was so kind. And now he’s older and it hasn’t changed.

Chris Martin is under so much pressure. He has to watch every word or be absolutely hammered with criticism and even hate when people take his words out of context. Even some of his own fans think he has to do this, even though they know who he is, where his heart lies and what he stands for.

Haters and a huge chunk of people who don’t even know him at all, know the band at all. It’s so sad.

Yes this. I spent hours trying to defend Chris yesterday and ended up having to delete my tweets because I was hammered. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.

I just deleted my Twitter app. Will have a few days of thinking about what to do next. Because I need the social connection. I speak to people in there every day. I have no friends whatsoever in real life due to being quite isolated and various circumstances. I really hope more people move here.

Is this about him still staying friends with JK in 2022? Since then she’s proven to be extremely transphobic and hateful. So I doubt he’s still friends with her. If he is, that’s disappointing! But if it’s based on him not wanting to take sides back in 2022, it’s not great but forgivable in my book.
