What concerns me is that people are focused on "illegal" and not so much on "wrong". Maybe include both words.

If Megyn Kelly was saying that some 19 year olds are still kids, then I don't think there would be an uproar, and that's something to think about.

There's a word for everything you have an unfounded visceral negative reaction to.

This is why it's important to think things through a lot.

It will always seem logical that things you don't like are bad simply because vocabulary allows for it.

Make sure you really know why you don't like things.

If you care about the raping of young girls, then make THAT the issue, not Christianity.

This is because Republicans are not running public nazis for office.

If there were very far right publicly Nazi politicians in power they would discipline Republicans too. Closest thing is Rand Paul, though I don't know that he's a public Nazi, just that he'll go against Republicans in a principled way.

I think human nature is human nature whether dem or rep.

This is the problem I have with this bandwagon right now.

I try to look at everything objectively, and this includes Epstein/Trump stuff.

It seems that when convenient for Democrats or Republicans, that Epstein and Gislaine have credibility.

But when it's inconvenient for them, they have no credibility.

This is why the Epstein files are meaningless.

The narrative is that it's a nothing burger.

I'm on the fence about it all. I think everything will work out eventually. I like how Dems try new things. I like how Reps get their goalposts socially moved but keep everything more or less socially reasonable.

My parents watched Fox News so it's comforting to me lol
