Congress rolls back $9 billion in public media funding and foreign aid The House approved a Trump administration plan to rescind $9 billion in previously allocated funds, including $1.1 billion for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

WNBA coming back to Detroit: Expansion franchise announced for 2029 season Investors led by Pistons owner Tom Gores have secured WNBA's return to Detroit with an expansion team. The Detroit Shock departed to Tulsa in 2010.

BREAKING: The WNBA is returning to Detroit in 2029.

The yet-to-be-named team will get a brand-new headquarters and practice facility, and play at the LCA.
