The Pastel City art work was published as posters in SF Monthly. I had it on my bedroom wall back in the day! Couldn't find the issue quickly online but did find their article about Bruce Pennington on his website.

Work is simply not fit for humans, work should be sent to the gym. Work needs to sort out its lifestyle balance and come back when its ready to be healthy for humans again.

My first thought was machine but freehand. I'd use a simple stitch and a fairly heavy thread. You just use a sewing machine the same way that you would use a pen.

I suspect it could be programmed for a computerised sewing machine, but I can't afford one.

Me too. I got this a lot without a personalised spelling. There are many official spellings of Madeleine. Teachers couldn't pronounce it. In the playground, I got called margarine or marmalade. I got folk calling me Maddy and Mandy without checking if I wanted that. It still happens 60+ years on.

I'm definitely the melting ewe!
