I'm trying to understand #Duolingo replacing hearts with "energy". Weirdly, you lose it, even when answering correctly. You can easily refill it but have to endure endless ads. So much for "free" education, eh, #Duo, trying to pressure people into buying SuperDuo. That dog won't hunt, so fuck you.

I slammed into a door-handle, being my usual impatient self, and bloody hell, it almost paralysed my forearm. Bit of a bulge there, but I couldn't help laughing at my clumsiness, because it's a 1940's handle, nice and rounded, and I still managed to hurt myself. Some things never change. 😁

Yesterday was the anniversary of the death of my husband. I didn't feel anything. He was a narcissist, and made my life hell, but everyone thought that he was *such* a great guy, even my Mum, and that I was the weird one.
