Chard reservoir on a recent walk

We used to participate but stopped about 3 years ago after putting a pumpkin out ear out front door and within 5 minutes someone came down the driveway and smashed it in the road. Now we turn the lights off and watch TV in the back room 🎃

Celebrity Traitors is getting tense

I saw this spider in my car, I didn't like the look of it but luckily it's harmless.
It's a Flower Crab Spider 🕷️

This is the stuff of nightmares.

This fungus, sometimes known as zombie fungus, has turned this spider into a zombie. After infecting its host, the fungus influences the behaviour of the spider, making it leave its lair to die in an exposed position where its spores can infect another spider.
