We live in a world where obedience and defiance are measured by the same thing: how fast you’re willing to die.

Never negotiate with a bully. Appeasement only fuels them. It’s better to resist decisively and deny them what they want than to submit and be consumed by endless demands.

I always thought the United States would fall due to an Alien Invasion or a Nuke dropping on a major city — it still might. But I never thought it would unravel like this, while I was still living. So says the man who wants to live forever.

The harder truth is that as individuals and as a society, we often choose to stay wrong rather than do what’s right, because changing our minds feels like losing.

Until we learn to value humility as much as certainty, we’ll keep repeating the same mistakes,louder each time.

I’m starting to believe that real progress, especially in the United States requires something we’re deeply uncomfortable with: admitting we were wrong.

Not defeated. Not betrayed. Just…wrong.

I’m beginning to learn that help doesn’t come from the outside. It comes from the salty sweat that burns your cuts and burns your eyes, which motivates you either move or stay still. One way or another, it causes you to do something.
