There is No Scientific Justification to Revoke the Endangerment Finding The U.S. EPA's decision to repeal the Endangerment Finding will limit the government's ability to regulate emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act.

As I say here, there is no scientific justification to revoke the engagement finding. In fact, over the last 15+ yrs, the evidence of how climate change affects our health has only grown. Higher risk of allergies, dementia, fertility, heart disease, and death: that’s what’s on the line. @nature.org

Beware of any Christian movement that demands the government be an instrument of God's wrath but never a source of God's charity, mercy, or compassion.

With the Old Breed is a great, haunting book. Made my 2 older sons read it when they were older teens, and plan to do the same for my younger son.

Basically a beer-bellied dad would scream curses, thinking b/c he played pointyball or basketball in HS he knew better how to coach 9/10 yo’s playing soccer.

Sadly, saying “um, sir, these kids are 9 & 10” didn’t tend to shut them up. Nor did “um, you can’t do that in this kind of football…” 🥴

It’s pathetic.

My dad stopped coaching my soccer teams after I was in 4th gr for basically the same issue (and when he moved down to coach my younger sibs he’d quit after 2nd or 3rd gr).

Mind you, this was in the 80’s, when most white US suburbanite patents had NOT A CLUE how soccer was played…

And we dis-enrolled her in that class / used another curriculum that didn’t promote mammon worship

DR and his daughter are going on about “Don’t you want to be rich? Wanting to be rich is good! Well, in this video, we’re going to teach you how to be rich!”

After playing this segment, she turns around and looks at us and says - “what about ‘ those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, …

The incident that sealed my opinion of DR was when one of our older kids was in a high school coop - and for one class they did a DR teen video series. Our daughter is watching the intro, and is shocked - “mom, dad - look at this!”

And there's a variety of other times God uses the imagery of lions to pronounce woe on the greedy/unjust, or the Psalmist calls out to God to rescue him from lions, etc, etc
