Here's the thing about Gervais, for anyone who fucking cares.

He's a sadistic bully who desperately needs to be liked. He's that bully you might've known from school who all the mothers loved. Oh that Ricky, they'd have said, what a NICE boy.

As he got laughs from making a kid eat worms.

We are family: some notes on common ancestors Danny Dyer isn't special.

To find a point in history at which everyone who still has living descendants is the ancestor of literally everyone on earth, you have to go back no farther than a few millennia.

On how we're all much more closely related than you think.

I’m very glad to see a lot of people are starting to follow more engaging habits on Bluesky to try and help this platform to become the new global town hall.

My younger brother is trans. My parents have been horrendous about deadnaming and misgendering him. At Thanksgiving, I used an air horn to correct them. I fixed a 2-3 year long problem in two seconds. 10/10 would recommend this training method.

In The Reckoning Steve Coogan makes Jimmy Savile's evil look effortless Coogan's portrayal of the serial abuser is near flawless in this utterly harrowing and sensitively handled series

My review of The Reckoning, the BBC’s new drama about Jimmy Savile, in today’s iPaper.

It illuminated three hunched figures. As the cauldron bubbled an eldritch voice shrieked: β€œWhen shall we three meet again?” There was a pause. Finally another voice said, in far more ordinary tones: β€œWell, I can do next Tuesday

How many good omens copies have you owned? I remember a remark Sir Terry told of being presented with dog eared copies but then also, brand new as people lent them and didn't get them back.
I'm on my 3rd copy, not including the special edition I treated myself to after series one was released.

Also, whoever is running the idiots assembled account, on the 'other ' site has definitely taken lessons from the good omens account and is now torturing everyone!
