yeah I totally know what jury nullification is… ….in which a jury acquires a defendant despite believing they broke the law

also I didn’t see ur first response & I appreciate you’d want me on ur jury😭my go-to response for literally everyone would be “they need resources & rehabilitation”

hence why I’d never be on a jury in our country

yeah this was just us waiting for hours until they started calling ppl in in groups & after being there since 8:45 in the morning doing jackshit they were like “u can go home” so it’s definitely far more of an inconvenience here since there’s no system like that in place

I got sent home before lunch but I still expect my $72 in the mail

I’m homeeee (they called a bunch of us into a room & said we could leave & never come back)

here it’s $72 a day but I’m unemployed so I guess I can’t complain😭

it’s absolutely freezing in here like they have the ac pumping even tho it’s 53 degrees out

but the criminal justice system needs majorrrr reform regardless. but I also just could never handle being on a jury

I dunno why I’m surprised but the first thing that jury duty starts w is a video telling u about how cool it is to get to do this & that it’s actually not an inconvenience at all
