I think there's a degree of fatalistic coping when it comes to these absurdist apocalyptic fantasies. I personally enjoy them because they're so ridiculous that it's hard to take them seriously. Being off-put by them is more than valid though, we all have different reasons for enjoying our kinks.

I think it's about the idealism of it all. I appreciate how well this community protects it's marginalized members. It's very important we stand against bigotry. In this instance I feel a bit more tact would have been preferable. A quick DM asking them why and if they'd remove it would have affected this same outcome and spared them anxiety.
