3/ This is the latest in a pattern of attacks by this Administration on older adults and Americans with disabilities: Proposed #Medicaid cuts, weakening the Social Security Administration, ending funding for Alzheimer's research, and closing the CFPB.

- more Americans will be institutionalized.
- families will have fewer places to turn to for support.
- older adults will lose access to transportation, legal services, and day programs.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced that it will dramatically reduce its workforce, close regional offices, and dissolve agencies that help older adults and people with disabilities.
