Haven't posted in a little while, very deep into Wind and Truth at the moment. After about 500 pages I'm really enjoying it and excited to see how it will end

Finished reading Golden Son (Red Rising #2) yesterday and was very pleased with the read. A βββββ rating and I am very excited to get reading the next (will be after Wind and Truth which releases on Friday).

I am now 50% in after just a few days reading and I am absolutely loving it. It has the same feeling as the first book whilst expanding out from the academy into the wider world.
Expecting this to be another βββββ read!

I started reading Golden Son (Red Rising #2) immediately after finishing the first one last weekend. Really enjoyed the first (I like survival competitions like the Hunger Games) so wasn't sure if I would enjoy the sequel.

Finished reading Red Rising last night, what a great book. The ending was just one of many WTF moments throughout where I really couldn't have predicted what would happen.
A definite βββββ read and I will be staring on the next book today

Repost with one of your favorite books youβve read this year!

Continuing on with reading Red Rising, here are my thoughts at various points thus far:
Start:
Cool concept, wonder where this will go
End of Act 1:
WTF
End of Act 2:
WTF
Start of Act 3:
Oh now it's the hunger games
Nearing the end of Act 3 now and it just keeps getting better

Other than that small gripe, a very good book thus far. Hoping the books keeps me engaged enough to want to read the rest of them (which I have already purchased on kindle when they were on sale)
Thought I'd start sharing my reading progress given that I read quite often.
Currently reading Red Rising, about 33% through and I'm thoroughly enjoying the concept.
The only thing I don't like is the trope of putting two words together and capitalising the second to make it "sci-fi" sounding...
