i've been very busy with work lately and without a lot of time to draw on my free time 😭i still try to do some of my figure sketching though, most refs i used are from @trueref.bsky.social

Figure drawing of a man lying down, facing upwards. His feet are at the left side of the page and his head and torso are on the right side. The background has been colored in on the left side with red paint. During that part of the process, the page was oriented vertically so that the red paint (at the top of the page) would trickle down to the blank side. The figure overlaps both the red and blank sides of the page.

One of two charcoal and graphite figure drawings depicting a middle aged man sitting upright on a cloth covered stool, nude. His back faces the viewer, his long hair is tied up in a bun and his head is turned slightly so his left profile is suggested through large lines. His left arm is grabbing the top of the stool on his left side, his right arm is resting at his side and is obscured by his right leg which protrudes outward and to the right while his left leg sits in front of the figure. The line quality is loose and simplifies details. The figure is illuminated from the top left and the background is slightly implied with line but mostly blank.

Two of two charcoal and graphite figure drawings depicting an older man sat upright on a cloth covered stool, nude. The man faces to the right with his back towards the viewer, he is sitting on the edge of the stool and almost kneeling. The bottom half of his right leg is flat against the ground and the sole of his foot faces the viewer. Both his left arm and leg are obscured from this angle. His face is seen at a right profile. He has short hair, white. His right arm is supporting his pose by holding onto the stool from behind. The figure if illuminated from the upper left side leaving his right side - leg on floor - entirely in shadow, as well as the cloth on the stool which is sliding off on the right side. To create visual balance with the dark shadows of the leg, the background of the upper left side of the figure is shaded black, the rest is left blank.
