The album cover art for Black Pyramid - The Paths of Time Are Vast (2024). This was an absolute odyssey of a stoner metal album, arguable a cooler 12+ year comeback than Sleep’s “The Sciences” (2018)

The album cover art for Missouri Executive Order 44 - Salt Sermon (2024). Bike helmet-donning MOE44 shows promise for being a class underground noisy hardcore/sludge metal outfit. This record is quite insane, probably my #11 of the year.

The album cover art for Opeth - The Last Will and Testament (2024). Love me a good concept album, and this is a refreshing approach for a band I’ve had mixed feelings about since I first heard them ~7 years back. Other members of the band would put this in their top 3… do with that info what you will lol

The album cover art for Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats - Nell’ Ora Blu (2024). This was in my Top 10 overall albums of the year, but this isn’t really a metal or rock album at all. It’s a horrorsynth experience unlike anything else, truly a different listening experience from most albums I have ever heard.
