I can’t believe I’m writing this sentence but it’s one thing to have an RPG or VN where the characters’ appearances are relevant, and another thing where I’m trying to play Funny Tile Game and I get hit with an X rating because I dealt into a baiman.

my problem is the *kind* of games it’s in. There’s definitely places (like mahjong games) where it’s egregious and tangential to the entire purpose of the game. If the “adult” content is part of real characterization where it’s arguably important to the game I have far fewer problems with it.
