Looks like minipainting has to do without Vallejo paints. First they ignore worker's right and safety in their factory, begrudgingly let them have a few fixes and now they blatantly use Generated Images as their selling point. If you can't support artists I can't support you.

I have the freedom here to be able to get sick with the flu, like I currently am, and not worry about bills, losing my job, being unable to keep myself fed and housed etc, even if I'm sick for weeks. I have freedom from a lot of worries. So do the people of Greenland. That's worth a lot.

I’m having a blast with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, atm especially with how the game handles the Germans that Henry encounters. Because Henry, like me, speaks a Germanic language but doesn’t speak German. So we understand the same amount of what’s said, aka. a decent amount, but often not enough 😅

Me too. It’s just so damn dumb? I almost understand when they thought they’d have the guy who’s retiring, but he’s out tomorrow, and then there’s exactly no one left who knows this program. All knowledge is in documentation that’s lacking to say the least 😵

I was specifically hired to be a redundancy so not all knowledge about this program was in the heads of consultants. And now they’re getting rid of that redundancy. Seems really shortsighted to me.

Also, my coworker just ended a bunch of expensive program licenses, to an amount that is more than half my salary. Are you still frigging sure you can’t afford me?

Because they made this decision without all the facts! The situation has changed! Do you really wanna get rid of 1 of the 2 people who’ve worked on the program for more than 2 months? And the only one who’s worked on the front end, bc the other guy is a backender? Really?

When my workplace decided to not renew my 2 year contract, they did that with the thought that there would be 2 people at least who still knew the program were launching in 3 weeks.
One is surprise retiring tomorrow. So now I’m gonna make a pro/cons list for why they should reconsider rehiring me.

I also wish that job sites had a way to filter out specific words in job listings, such as "graduate" or "student worker," since I wouldn't qualify for those positions anymore, even if I wanted them.
